About these terms
These terms are between you and Alexander Ifidon, a sole trader trading as Trophora, 52 Larden Road, London W3 8HJ, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By making an account or playing, you agree to them. Contact: [email protected]. These terms are for Trophora (ages 13 and over). Trophora Academy (ages 5 to 12) has separate terms.
Accounts
- You must be 13 or older to make an account.
- Sign-in is by a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can open your sign-in links can use your account.
- One account per person. Don't share sign-in links.
Free trial and subscription
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial with everything unlocked. No card is needed for the trial.
- After the trial, the manager game stays free. Player mode, the 3D match view and scenarios need a subscription.
- Subscriptions are monthly or yearly, paid in advance through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. The price is shown before you pay.
- You can cancel any time from Manage subscription on the Account screen. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Your right to cancel: under UK consumer law you can cancel within 14 days of first subscribing. Because the game starts as soon as you subscribe, you agree that the service begins straight away; if you cancel within those 14 days we will refund you, minus a fair amount for the time you have already had.
- If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it; locked features stay open for a few days while that happens.
The game
- Everything in Trophora is fictional: clubs, players, people, places and brands, apart from our real partner brands Naira Music and Arteify.
- Your saves are stored on your device. Use Back up in the game to keep a copy; we cannot recover saves that are deleted from your device.
- Predictions and betting in the game use play coins only. They have no money value and cannot be bought or cashed out.
- We keep improving the game, so features may change. We will not remove what you have paid for during a paid period without offering a refund for the rest of it.
Fair use
Don't attack, overload or try to break into the service, don't resell access, and don't use the game to harass anyone. We may suspend accounts that do.
Our responsibility
We provide the game with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell account holders about important changes by email before they apply. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; if you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live outside the UK, you keep any consumer rights your own country's law gives you that cannot be changed by contract, and you may be able to bring a claim in your own courts.
If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or carer is happy for you to subscribe before you pay.
